Card Anatomy

We have designed the ‘Card’ view in Swift Kanban to fit your most generic requirements, giving you maximum information on the card, without cluttering it.  Let’s take a quick look at the card anatomy.

  1. ID :- View Card Details by clicking the card ID or click the arrow on the right to scroll through the attributes shown on the card.
  2. Title Text :- Card title is displayed here.
  3. Block Cards :- Block cards by clicking the Block icon to indicate that you are stuck and inform others for any help needed. It is stamped as ‘Blocked’. To Unblock the card, click the ‘Blocked’ stamp and state the reason for unblocking.
  4. Comments:- View or Add Comments to the card by clicking the Comments icon.
  5. Tasks :- View or Add Tasks for a User Story by clicking the Tasks icon.
  6. View Log of the card movements which happened on the Kanban Board by clicking the View Log icon.
  7. Card Color:- The color of the card indicates whether it is a User Story, Defect, or an Issue. The legend is available on the right of the Kanban Board toolbar.
  8. Card Attributes:- Card attributes are displayed which you can scroll by clicking the Next and Previous arrows on the right . The Estimates, Rank, Class of Service appears as entered in the card. The color combination of the three stars indicate the priority.
    The color code of the stars on the card to indicate priority is as follows: 

    • All red stars- Critical
    • All yellow stars- High
    • Two yellow stars and one blue star – Medium
    • One yellow star and two blue stars – Low
  9. Card Owner :- Change the current owner of the card by clicking on the name and then select from the list.
